Cebuana Lhuillier extends help to Marawi insurgency victims

Pasig City – With the continuous insurgency in Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur, Ka-Cebuanas extended a helping hand to our kababayans affected by the conflict through cash donations from their own pockets. Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation, Inc. (CLFI) facilitated the collection of donations and used the amount from the employees as well as from PJLGC President and CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier to purchase 2,749 pieces of Halal canned goods and 2,035 pairs of slippers.
CLFI Executive Trustee Jonathan Batangan together with CSR Consultant Atty. Cesar Vidal and Program Department Kristina Muñiz handed over the donation to Department of Education Assistant Secretary for External Partnerships Service Atty. Tonisito Umali and EPS Director Margarita Ballesteros at DepEd Central Office, Pasig City last July 10. Present also during the turnover were EPS Project Development Officers and CLFI staff.
